The Ministry of Defense of Moldova has reported this Monday that from Tuesday until February 4 all areas of the country’s Armed Forces will participate in a large-scale tactical training program.
As detailed by the Defense portfolio, these trainings, in which more than 400 soldiers are expected to participate, are intended to “evaluate the capabilities and practical skills of all military personnel.”
In accordance with the provisions of the Government, the military must carry out various tasks using military equipment, provide first aid and practice actions in the conditions of a chemical attack, according to the News Maker portal.
Despite the fact that the Moldovan authorities have taken security measures in response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, on this occasion Chisinau has stressed that the training is not related to the ongoing conflict.
This is why the Moldovan authorities have expressly asked the public “not to speculate” on the issue of training and the movement of military equipment.
