RUMOR: Activision was working on a new 3D Donkey Kong game

We receive interesting news related to donkey kongsince a new rumor has just come to light and states that Vicarious Visions, from Activision, was involved in a new game in the saga for Switch.

As you probably remember, the Zippo leaker shared a while ago that Nintendo was working on a new installment of Donkey Kong in 2D and using the same team that offered Super Mario Odyssey.

However, now new information is circulating about it, where it is said that said project is not in 2D, but that it is a 3D platform title that was in charge of Activision.

According to the new rumor shared by family boardsthe game was being developed by Vicarious Visions, a studio that started it in 2016 with the supervision of Shigeru Miyamoto, who was giving the go-ahead to the progress.

However, the project moved to Nintendo EPD Tokyo in 2018, shortly after the release of the latest Mario installment, to give the project a reboot and put it on the path to a successor to the hybrid console.

It is worth mentioning that said game could be planned to be released at a date close to when Super Nintendo World receives its new area with the theme of donkey kongso it would not be very far from presenting itself.
