March 21 (Portaltic/EP) –

Immutable and Polygon have announced a collaboration with the intention of facilitating a platform for the creation of video games for the web3 developers based on the ethereum blockchain.

The two companies seek to accelerate the development and adoption of web3 gaming through an ethereum-based zero-knowledge virtual machine (zkEVM), powered by technologies from Immutable and Polygon.

This alliance has become known within the framework of the Game Developers Conference, held this Monday in San Francisco (United States). according to Expressed Immutable“will allow both large game studios and indie developers to create high-quality games that support true ownership of assets” and to do so in a way “faster, easier and less risky“.

Although zkEVM will be released in the coming monthsdevelopers can already get documentation and start an early integration with this virtual machine.
