Thanks to YouTube, there are tons of streamers, celebrities, and content creators these days, but the first and by far the biggest is Felix Kjellberg, better known as PewDiePie, who pretty much gave birth to the YouTube gaming scene, which started in 2010. Well, this creative has just revealed that he will become a father.
You read it right, the 33-year-old Swedish youtuber is expecting a child with his wife Marzia Kjellberg, a 30-year-old Italian girl whom he married in Japan in 2019. However, it is also one of the first couples on YouTube, since they have known each other since 2011 and since then they have been a couple and have lived together.

PewDiePie made the announcement in the early hours of November 5 and it quickly became a trend. It was through a short video in which PewDiePie revealed that they realized that they were both expecting a child last November. In the video it is possible to see the ultrasound in which the baby is distinguished and how his family reacted to the news.
“It’s kind of weird for me, it’s entering new territory, but I feel really ready and so does Marzia,” Kjellberg said. “I just feel so lucky to start a family with the woman I love and know that together we can tackle whatever comes our way.”
When is PewDiePie and Marzia’s baby due?
This announcement was made after PewdiePie revealed that Maya, his brown pug/Chihuahua mix, passed away days after her 17th birthday, an age few dogs reach.
The couple moved to Japan last year and currently reside there. Although not as frequently, PewDiePie continues to make videos on YouTube on various topics, including gaming, and has over 111 million subscribers on the platform and a huge community that continues to support him.

“Marzia is the most loving and caring person I know, so I have no doubt that she will be a wonderful mom,” Kjellberg said. “I promise to help along the way and be the best father I can be. I can’t wait to meet this boy.”
Kjellberg will have to wait a few more months, since taking into account the usual gestation period, it is estimated that the little one will be born in August 2023.
