The new OnePlus 11 was initially presented in China and later had a global presentation event along with other devices of the brand. This differentiates between two markets where these phones are sold and where users often take the opportunity to buy it cheaper in China and use it in other regions. But it seems that OnePlus does not want us to carry out this maneuver and, according to They tell us at AndroPlusis blocking calls from terminals purchased in China and used in other countries.
The Chinese manufacturer warns of this by a message that appears on the user’s phone screen and that comes to say that we are using a phone intended for the Chinese market in another region. Fortunately, users of the same forum have investigated and have managed to remove this restriction, which apparently is activated when we use a Chinese OnePlus 11 phone in a country where the global version is also available, giving meaning to this blockade. It seems that OnePlus does not want us to use phones purchased in another region when there is an official sales channel in our country, as is the case in Spain.
The block seems like that too can be removed by entering a 16-digit code, this code can be provided by the manufacturer itself, although it is not known in which cases it could be offered. These locks also could affect other devices that belong to the same group as they are Oppo and Realme.
