Qualcomm has confirmed that smartwatches running the WearOS 3.0 operating system will be compatible with the iPhone.something that denies the rumors that these watches may not be compatible with Apple terminals, something that would increase their dependence on the Apple Watch, a watch that already has great integration with iOS.
These rumors originated in the behavior that Samsung has had with its Galaxy Watch 4, and it is that these terminals did not have support for iOS devices such as the iPhone. However, as we can read in Android Centralthis will not be the case with future watches released on the market.
In the post we can see how A Qualcomm spokesperson has announced that the Montblanc Summit 3 will be the first smartwatch to work with iOS terminals. This being a watch announced earlier this month that it will be the first Wear OS 3.0 watch to not leave Samsung factories.
It will certainly come as a relief to those iOS users who don’t want a watch like the Apple Watch for whatever reason. something totally valid even on an aesthetic level considering that these devices are also part of our outfit.
