Acer has introduced the new Predator Triton 16, the latest addition to the line of ‘gaming’ equipment, which is powered by the 13th generation Intel Core processor and Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 graphics cards.
Predator Triton 16 (PT16-51) is a ‘gaming’ laptop with a slim design (19.9mm) and a 16-inch screen, featuring a metal casing with a silver finishwhich will be available in Spain from September 2,299 euros, as reported by Acer within the framework of Computex 2023.
Inside, it integrates a 13th generation Intel Core i9 processor which reaches a maximum turbo frequency of 5.4GHz. Your CPU works together with the graphics card Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070, upscaling technology DLSS 3 and the Max-Q suite of features to optimize in-game ray tracing and overall PC performance.
Acer has specified that the notebook can be configured with memory of up to 32GB DDR5 at 5,200 MHz and up to 2TB PCIe M.2 SSDs in RAID 0 configuration, as stated in a statement.
To ensure that its components do not overheat during gaming sessions, Acer has implemented a suite of thermal solutions that combine a double 5th generation AeroBlade 3D fan, an optimization of Vortex Flow (dedicated heat pipes and exhaust grills) and thermal grease for the metallic liquid in the CPU.
The display features a narrow bezel design and uses a IPS panel with WQXGA resolution (2,560 x 1,600), which reaches a maximum brightness of 500 nits and a refresh rate of 240Hz. It also offers 100% DCI-P3 color accuracy and compatibility with Nvidia Advanced Optimus and G-SYNC solutions “to deliver smooth, vibrant images.”
This equipment works with Windows 11, it comes with Intel Killer DoubleShot Pro (E2600+Wi-Fi 6E 1675i), along with a variety of ports, including two USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, HDMI 2.1, a USB Type-C port with Thunderbolt 4, and a Micro SD card reader.
