Sonic Mania creators announce their new game: Penny’s Big Breakaway

What is Penny’s Big Breakaway?

According to the details, it is a game developed by Evening Star, in which developers such as art director Tom Fry, technology executive and game director Hunter Bridges, design director Brad Flick, along with producer Dave Padilla and game engine lead Christian Whitehead. All of these developers also worked on Sonic Mania.

Penny’s Big Breakaway it will have expressive gameplay and the player will be able to control Penny and Yo-Yo, a couple who will embark on an adventure in the Macaroon world.

Penny will be able to use Yo-Yo to hit, swing, hang from platforms and even ride it and kill many enemies.

“In this 3D platforming adventure, you’ll explore the bright and colorful world of Macaroon and help Penny and Yo-Yo escape the clutches of grumpy Emperor Eddie. Perform mind-blowing stunts to evade massive hordes of pesky penguins in Story Mode. Power up Yo-Yo to protect Penny and test your racing skills in Time Trial Mode to unlock special items and complete secret levels,” the project description reads.
