WhatsApp keep incorporating new functionsnow related to privacy. WhatsApp will include in future beta versions the possibility of hide your connection status in the versions available for iOS, Android or Desktop. This is one of the most demanded options by users over several years that the messaging application owned by Meta has been among us.
With this new option, you will be able to hide the status and use the application without other users being able to see that you are online. This way you can connect to WhatsApp and only the contacts you choose can see your status. This option has been included in many or most messaging apps, its rival Telegram you have had this option for several years.
As we see in the image, you can classify who can see your status with the two new options that you will have to configure to adjust the privacy and choose who can or cannot see it. Now you can not only hide the connection time, but also you can hide your status from unwanted users.
For now this option is under developmentand there is no known date for it to be included in the beta channel.
