Downdetector, a website that reports on interruptions in services, ensures that the WhatsApp service has had problems since 2:00 p.m. So far, they have received 7,419 reports from affected users.
Among the affected entities are Chihuahua, Monterrey, Guadalajara, Mexico City and Mérida, according to the heat map on the website.
The Meta app and has communicated that “we are working quickly to resolve connectivity issues with WhatsApp and we will update it here as soon as possible.”
