The Ukrainian Army tries to contain the Russian troops in a large sector of the eastern front of Donetsk, in the east of the country. President, Volodymyr Zelenskyin his last message, has thanked the West for the military aid but has asked for more.

“During this week, the Ukrainian Armed Forces and our intelligence have achieved solid results in destroying the logistics of the Russian army, the rear bases of the occupiers,” he said.

“Each attack on the enemy’s arsenals – he continued -, on their command posts, on their combat machine emplacements, saves the lives of Ukrainian soldiers and civilians. (…) Thanks to our partners, to all those who supply Ukraine with the necessary weapons.

Zelensky has assured that these weapons “are used with the greatest possible precision and benefit for the general defense strategy”, as well as that his government is “doing everything possible to obtain even more effective and modern weapons”.

Another positive news is that another four ships have left Ukraine with food from the ports of Odessa and Chornomorsk, with a total of 161,084 tons of cargo.
