The video game are consecrated as one of the best ways to get closer and better connect with family during Christmaswith a 40 percent of parents who plan to play with their children on these dates, as suggested by a study of Xbox.

This is how one shows it new survey developed by YouGov in some countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Germany or Mexico, and commissioned by Xbox, which confirms that the 56 percent of those surveyed consider that passing on the habit of playing video games from the older generations to the younger ones is a “great tradition.”

In this sense, the study also confirms that video games help people to relax during intense periods such as Christmas.

In fact, the 54 percent turn to video games to relieve stress. In contrast, 46 percent use the ‘scroll’ of social networks, 45 percent concentrate on reading a book and 33 percent on self-care activities.

The use of video games for the whole family makes them a good gift option for these festivities. According to Xbox, the gifts for the whole family take precedence and they are a good investment, data supported by 30 percent of respondents who plan to give gifts, who also agree on this option.
