AMD The new processors are now available. Ryzen 7000 Series, although for the moment it has 4 references to which some more will be added later. But still missing new processors for HPC Threadripper with Zen 4 cores which are expected to be released later. From Benchleaks we have been able to see two processors with a new AMD product code which, given their configuration, may correspond to the New Threadripper 7000 Series.
Processors have been seen on the Einstein platform11 and have been recognized as processors with 192 processors, although it really refers to the number of available threads. These processors have 96 cores and 192 execution threads, on a new AMD CPU with a configuration similar to the EYPCs for servers. Although they seem similar configurations, the difference is in the speed of the CPU, being somewhat higher in the reference ending in 21_N.
For now no other details known of these two new references that may correspond to this next generation of AMD Threadripper 7000 processors with Zen 4 cores. It is expected that this next generation of AMD processors for HPC will merge Threadripper and Threadripper PRO seriesgiving rise to a single range with maximum configurations as seen today in up to 96 cores and 192 threads of execution.
