UdeC reaches third national place in 2023 Regular Fondecyt awards

In the third national position, with 42 awards, the University of Concepción, UdeC, was positioned, according to the results of the Fondecyt Regular contest, published this week by the National Agency for Research and Development, ANID.

Thus, the house of studies confirms its national position in this line of state financing, increasing the number of awards (from 34 to 42) and the respective award rate in relation to the previous year (from 28.3% to 36.8% ). “This result confirms once again the commitment and validity of our researchers at the national and international level, since they have exceeded high qualification standards in terms of curriculum and quality of the research proposal”, highlighted the Director of Research and Artistic Creation of the UdeC, Dr Ronald Mennickent Cid.

Fondecyt Regular seeks to promote scientific-technological-based research in various areas of knowledge, by financing individual research projects of excellence aimed at the production of knowledge.
