Two people have died and another five have been injured in a knife attack that has occurred on a regional train in northern Germany, a police spokesman has told the newspaper. Bild.
The incident occurred this Wednesday at noon on a regional train that covered the route from Kiel to Hamburg, as reported by the Minister of the Interior of Schleswig-Holstein, Sabine Sütterlin-Waack (of the CDU).
The newspaper Frankfurter Algemeine details that a spokesman for the federal police has pointed out that the attack occurred around 3:00 p.m., before the railway arrived at the Brokstedt station. It was at that moment when a man got up from his seat and attacked the travelers with a knife.

As soon as the facts became known, the Police went to the Brokstedt train station to investigate the facts, as reported by the transport company Deutsche Bahn through its official Twitter account.
Seven people have been affected by the attack, which results in a balance of two fatalities and five people injured. According to the German press, Police have arrested a man as the main suspect as soon as the train arrives at Brokstedt station.
