Action in every way. The Twisted Metal series, based on the popular franchise of video game of vehicle combat of the same name, presented its first extended trailer and it has surprised the community.
The advance published by the streaming service Peacock shows to John Doe (Anthony Mackie) surviving in a post apocalyptic world, where cities have built giant walls to protect themselves from criminals riding powerful machines across the desolate landscape.
The cast includes Neve Campbell, Thomas Hayden Church as Sheriff, and Samoa Joe voiced by Will Arnett as the terrifying Sweet Tooth.
Twisted Metal is scheduled to premiere on July 27 through the Peacock platform in the United States. The distribution of the series on streaming platforms for Latin America is unknown.
Twisted Metal characters featured in the trailer
John Doe, the protagonist of the series, appeared in Twisted Metal: Black and Twisted Metal: Lost. His story is a mystery. He suffered amnesia after an attack on the Midtown Center for Disease Control and was recruited by Calypso to compete in her vehicular battle contest.
Sheriff would become Outlaw, the police vehicle that appears in almost every Twisted Metal installment since 1995.
The purple vehicle that appears in the middle of the chase would be that of Shadow, available in the Twisted Metal 2, Twisted Metal: Black, Twisted Metal: Small Brawl, Twisted Metal: Head-On and Twisted Metal (2012) roosters.
The brief scene of a woman wearing a Formula 1 helmet would be Amanda Watts, Twister’s original name, first introduced in Twisted Metal 2 and returns in Twisted Metal: Small Brawl and Twisted Metal: Head-On.
Who closes is the most obvious and commercial image of Twisted Metal. Sweet Tooth has appeared in every game in the series to date.

The story is about a talkative outsider who is given a chance at a better life, but only if he successfully delivers a mysterious package across a post-apocalyptic wasteland. With the help of a bold axe-wielding car thief, he’ll take on savage looters driving destruction vehicles and other dangers of the open road, including a deranged clown driving an all-too-familiar ice cream truck.
