After two years of virtuality, the corporate software company VMware returned with its annual conference ‘VMware Explore 2022’which is taking place this week in San Francisco, United States.

Within the framework of this space, where the multicloud solutions have been the protagonists, the firm, based in California, presented five innovations and developments of its services to facilitate the experience of its customers in cloud services.

The company’s CEO, Raghu Raghuram, presented the main advances that the company has been working on, and how these will facilitate the development of the ecosystem for its clients.

A year ago at this event we announced our vision of those elements that make it possible to be cloud smart. This year I am very proud because we are delivering products”Raghuram said

The first of these is the release of vSphere 8, an update to its technology that delivers a modernized infrastructure for the cloud, and also vSAN+8, with which the performance of the clients’ workload and the efficiency of operations among other services are improved.

The company also presented a portfolio of solutions for multi-cloud management, Aria. This tool helps streamline cost management, productivity, configurations, and infrastructure development for cloud-native applications. “The management of multiple clouds is a big problem, they imply million-dollar investments in building applications and then they require moving them to a high level of security. Aria seeks to be the heart of that management,” Raghuram said.

VMware also delivered a preview of its Tanzu portfolio for handling cloud-native applications. This, with the arrival of a new platform, which during the last year has already been used by some of the company’s main clients. This improves the ability of developers and simplify security processes.

The last big announcement was the advances in ‘VMware Anywhere Workspace’, a platform that facilitates remote work and hybrid work processes for companies, since it allows them to easily and securely manage applications on any device and anywhere.

“Customers continue to look to enable work from anywhere with secure and frictionless experiences. The advancements will introduce automation into organizations’ end-user computing environments, enabling enterprise IT teams to do more with less,” she said.
