The xbox appwhich allows access to video games in the cloud of the Xbox Game Pass subscription service, has reached the 2022 range of new Samsung televisions and is already available in 27 countries, including Spain.
The company announced at the beginning of June that the Xbox application would be available from June 30 within the Samsung Gaming Hub or Media Hub of Samsung Smart TVs, from where the user can sign in with their Microsoft account and link a wireless controller to play.
In turn, Samsung detailed that the smart TV models compatible with the Xbox ‘app’ correspond to the 2022 series, including Neo QLED 8K, Neo QLED 4K, QLED, Crystal UHD, and Smart Monitor.
now xbox has remembered that users can already access this application through the Media Hub or Samsung Gaming Hubthe latest Samsung Smart TV platform that offers users streaming games without the need for a console or a PC.
As indicated by the company, users of some of the latest Samsung Smart TV 2022 models can now connect to the Xbox application to access their library of games in the cloud, provided they have the subscription service to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
If this service is not available, players who wish to try the experience before joining any of their payment plans will be able to play Fortnite for free, without having an already registered user.
To try the new Xbox app on Samsung Smart TVs 2022, gamers will need to connect their controllers to the TV via Bluetooth, either the wireless controller Xbox, the Xbox Adaptive Controller, the Elite Series 2 controller, or the DualSense controller.
