The videogame The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, The adaptation of the story of this popular character from the JRR Tolkien saga has once again delayed its release date.

Daedalic Entertainment has announced through a statement shared on Twitter that it continues to work on this title in order to “meet the expectations” of its community of fans and players.

“In order to offer the best possible experience, we have decided to delay the release of The Lord of the Rings: Gollum for a few months,” the developer has indicated in this writing, shared On twitter.

With this, he recalled that “During the last years” the team that develops this video game “has been working hard to offer an extraordinary story in an impressive world, full of magic and wonder”.

Finally, the publisher has indicated that it hopes to be able to share information about this release soon, as well as set a new date “in the near future”, without giving more details about the evolution of the video game.

It should be remembered that this is not the first time that the premiere of the game has been postponed, announced in 2019, which was initially going to be presented in 2021 and was delayed to 2022.

Initially Daedalic Entertainment indicated that this action game would be published for PlayStation 5 (PS5), Xbox Series X and PC but, at the end of last year, he announced that it would also be available for PlayStation 4 (PS4), Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
