Everything indicates that the Google Pixel Fold will be a foldable very similar to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold and the latest leaks would give a good account of it.
Folding phones are here to stay and with recent releases this is confirmed. In recent weeks we have known the proposals of various manufacturers such as Samsung or Motorola and without forgetting Xiaomi. But it seems that there is still a proposal that has not yet seen the light and that may be launched shortly.
We are talking about the Google folding phone that as time goes by becomes more and more a reality. The latest leaks that have come to light have revealed part of what would be the technical design with which this device would reach the market. and, to no one’s surprise, the Pixel Fold drinks heavily from the Galaxy Z Fold 4.
Among these leaks, what has been seen are the technical schemes of the design. The most interesting thing about these schematics is that you can see how the hinge of the Google Pixel Fold would work. This hinge would make the device a folding book format instead of a clamshell type. as is the case with the Galaxy Z Flip 4.
The hinge for what the diagrams mark is very similar or almost identical to that of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4making the differences at the usability level minimal and reside in the way in which Google decides to adapt Android to work on a screen with folding capabilities that, unfortunately, would be something new for Android Stock.
Another interesting element that has been revealed thanks to the leaking of these schemes is the position of the camera of the new Google Pixel Fold. This camera would be located in the upper right frame of the device and, therefore, would be quite different from the integration that Samsung does with the camera inside its folding phone.
The fact of integrating the camera in this position may indicate that Google still does not have enough technology to make the camera hidden on the screen or that, on the contrary, you prefer not to use this technique in order to maintain the best possible quality when taking photos and videos with the front camera.
Unfortunately, the Google Pixel Fold remains a mystery and will remain so until Google decides to officially launch it on the market.
