The Ukrainian president, Volodimir Zelenski, has lamented this Monday the death of two people after the attacks of this day on the Ukrainian town of Pavlograd, located in the Dnipro region.
“In Pavlograd, Dnipro region, terrorist missiles claimed the lives of two people. My deepest condolences to the families,” reported Zelenski, who also reported that the number of injured has risen to 40. “For every such attack, the Russian invaders will be answered,” he stressed.
Zelenski has also revealed that the attacks that have fallen in recent hours on the town of Lyzunivka, in the Chernigov region, have left one dead, a 14-year-old teenager. “Russian bombs have destroyed another Ukrainian school there,” he denounced.
Hours before the confirmation of these deaths, the governor of Dnipro, Serhiy Lisak, reported through his Telegram channel that around thirty people had been injured after a new Russian offensive, which hit several residential buildings and half a dozen schools. .
“The racist bastards are again at war against peaceful people (…) In residential areas, 19 multi-storey buildings, 25 private houses, six schools and preschool educational centers and five shops have been hit,” he said.
Hours earlier, the Ukrainian authorities had activated a general air alert due to the threat of Russian attacks in various parts of the country. The alarm sounded in the regions of Sumy (north), Poltava, Kharkov (east), Dnipro, Zaporizhia, Donetsk, Nikolaev, Kherson and Odesa (south), reported the Ukrainian agency UNIAN.
