Today was a great day for the fans of Metal Gear, since Konami finally confirmed the return of the series. The announcements that attracted the most attention were of course the remake and the collection of classic titles, but Konami also announced one more game of Metal Gear Solid.
As we informed you yesterday, CMON was working on a secret project and today they just revealed that, just as it was speculated, it was a board game from the Metal Gear Solid PlayStation original.
This project, Metal Gear Solid: The Board Gamewill come true thanks to the partnership with Konami and will allow you to relive the events of the original game through the main campaign of Shadow Moses, which will consist of 14 missions.

What does the new board game include? Metal Gear Solid?
Players will be able to control more than 20 miniature figures of characters from the series, including Solid Snake, Meryl Sylberburgh, Cyborg Ninja, Revolver Ocelot, and even a 13cm Metal Gear REX figure.
If you want to get this last figure, you should know that it will only be included in the pre-order packs, which will be called Complete Edition. In addition, the set aside units will include a 109-page graphic novel that describes the action of each of the game’s missions.
In case you missed it: you can enjoy the Metal Gear Solid original on current platforms thanks to a new collection of the series.
The board game will also include the VR Mission Book, which is made up of 6 missions that can be played at any time and regardless of the number of players.
Metal Gear Solid: The Board Game can be played by 1-4 players (recommended for ages 14+), will cost $100 USD, can be set aside now, and is scheduled for release in April 2024.
