Along with the new GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 8 and 16 GB, NVIDIA has introduced the GeForce RTX 4060 with more modest specifications for the mid-range market.
It is the most modest desktop GPU based on the Ada Lovelace architecture to date, but that does not prevent it from having all the improvements and technologies included in the other models in the RTX 40 range. From the new generation of RT Cores and taut Cores, with considerably more power than past generations, to support for technologies like NVIDIA DLSS 3 with frame generation, going through the new memory subsystem with much larger L2 caches (24 MB of L2 against the 4 MB of the RTX 3060 for example)
It is precisely in this type of graphs with more contained prices where theI DLSS 3 it can make a bigger difference between not being able to or being able to play demanding titles, even at resolutions above 1080p and using Raytracing and advanced effects.
The RTX 4060 replaces the previous RTX 3060 and RTX 2060 models that do not support DLSS 3 with frame generation, so the advantage, beyond the raw power of the card, is clear.
The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 will hit the market in July with 8 GB of memory for a price of 335 euros.
They will arrive with builders’ own designs and, unlike the RTX 4070 Ti, there will be no Founders Edition model.
