Naughty Dog has announced that delays the release of The Last of Us Part I for PC until the 28th Marchso that the video game debuts on this gaming platform “in the best possible way” and guarantees “live up” to the standards of the players and the developer.
The Last of Us is a video game so far exclusive for PlayStation. His story takes place in USAin a post-pandemic environment, and places as protagonists Ellie and Joelwho must survive outbreak of a fungus that caused humans to mutate into cannibalistic creatures.
Given the success that the title is having and the requests of the players to bring it to the computer, the developer had planned to release it for PC on March 3. However, as the study has communicated via Twitter, they have decided delay this release until the 28th of the same month.
This change is due to the will of Naughty Dog that The Last of Us Part I “debut on PC in the best way possible.” The Extra weeks will allow us to “guarantee” that this version of the game “is up to your, and our, standards,” the development team has assured.

Likewise, the team has indicated that they are “totally hallucinated with the expressions of love and support to The Last of Us during these last weeks”, above all, with the notoriety that the game adapting series on HBO.
“Seeing your beautiful shots in photo mode and knowing that the world and characters our studio created nearly a decade ago continue to reach fans new and old is beyond us,” Naughty Dog said.

CYBER CRIMINALS TAKE ADVANTAGE
Taking advantage of the launch of the title on PC and the success of the series on HBO, the cybercriminals have been active looking for victims and offering a fraudulent version of The Last of Us for PC via fake free download links.
Specifically, cybercriminals have created web pages that advertise downloading The Last Of Us Part I on PC, offering a link that downloads a malicious file instead of the video gameas reported by Kaspersky.
Along with this scam, researchers discovered a phishing style that offers activation code for The Last Of Us. In the process, it ends requesting credentials and bank details to pay a small fee for the service.
