Britney may be jealous after Madonna grabbed all the attention by kissing Dominican-born rapper Tokischa on stage at Pride in New York, held this Thursday, June 23.
The scene was, of course, reminiscent of Madonna’s kiss with Britney Spears during her performance at the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards, which became one of the most iconic events in music.
The Queen of Pop, 63, and Tokischa, 26, shared the stage for a remix of the 2005 hit ‘Hung Up’, a moment they used to unleash a make-out session that became inevitable.
The ‘Linda’ rapper then got down on one knee and put her face into Madonna’s crotch, prompting the ‘Vogue’ singer to joke, “It’s a tough job, but someone has to do it,” Billboard reported.
In addition to Tokischa, Madonna was also joined onstage by Saucy Santana, who assisted the music legend during a medley of her viral song ‘Material Girl’ and her 1984 song of the same name.
The “queen of pop” also danced and performed alongside some superstar drag queens, including “RuPaul’s Drag Race” champion Bob the Drag Queen, as well as Pixie Ventura and Violet Chachki, who performed “Justify My Love.”
