Introduced the Poco M5, with MediaTek Helio G99 and 90 Hz, and the Poco M5s, with AMOLED panel and 33 W fast charge

Poco, a sub-brand of Xiaomi, has expanded its catalog of smartphones with two new models of the M series that we can fit between the entry range (or low) and the average. Both mobiles have a fairly contained technical sheet that seeks to offer a balance between price and specifications, but some of their features stand out for being competitive within the field in which they operate.

The Poco M5 is the cheapest of the two terminals presented today and is shipped from 189.99 euros. Within its price range, this mobile seeks to conquer gamers with a MediaTek Helio G99 processor with eight cores manufactured following a 6nm process, which is accompanied by up to 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage (expandable up to 1 TB ). The FHD+ panel offers a 2408 x 1080 resolution, a 90Hz variable refresh rate, and a 240Hz touch sampling rate.

The Poco M5s has a smaller processor than its brother, a MediaTek Helio G95, but its strength lies in the 6.43-inch AMOLED panel, FHD + resolution (2400 × 1080), 1,100 nits of maximum brightness and 409 dpi. It also seeks to stand out in its range by using a four-camera system, with a 60 MP main camera, 8 MP ultra-wide angle and 2 MP macro and depth each. At the software level we have all kinds of video and photographic functions. The battery remains at 5,000 mAh, but fast charging goes up to 33 W.
