Grupo Oesía has increased its capabilities in the areas of communications and defense with the acquisition of the satellite terminal company Inster from Grupo CPS, as reported by the company in a statement.
The firm has highlighted the commitment to technological development and the growth of the acquired project that the operation entails, which falls within the framework of its strategic growth plan until 2025.
Likewise, the purchase boosts Oesía’s export capacity, since Inster has products ranging from communication links and tactical communications processors to cybersecurity and quantum communications.
Oesía has indicated that these products can also play a key role in programs with a Spanish presence such as the Eurodron and ground communications of the programs and modernizations for the vehicles of the Military Emergency Unit, among others.
The executive president of Grupo Oesía, Luis Furnells Abaunz, has highlighted that the operation represents a boost to “the increasing national sovereignty in terms of Security and Defense”.
“This integration boosts the export potential of Spanish technology and strengthens our competitive capacity with a view to future national and international programs,” he added.
