“Good night, eShop”, players say goodbye to the 3DS and Wii U store due to its closure

The 3DS and Wii U eShop has its minutes counted, as today it will close permanently on both platforms. As soon as the countdown began, the players used social networks to say goodbye to the online store.

Players say goodbye to the 3DS and Wii U eShop

Many gamers were filled with nostalgia as they reminisced about their moments with their 3DS and Wii U. They highlighted the potential of both consoles and their incredible catalog of games. So they regretted the closure of their store, considering it the end of an era.

Several of them remembered the adorable shopping bag that became the character of the eShop. The players paid tribute to him with various drawings that show him in a last download in the digital store.
