Intel has announced his new Intel NUC 13 Pro mini PC, codenamed Arena Canyon. This is the new generation of NUCs, now equipped with thirteenth-generation Intel Raptor Lake processors with 14-core Core i7 models (6 P-Cores with 12 threads and 8 E-Cores with 8 threads) such as the Core i7 -1370P. There will also be models with Core i5 and Core i3 like the i5-1350P or the i3-1315U.
They will be accompanied by up to 64 GB of 3,200 MHz DDR4 SO-DIMM memory (at the moment there are no models with DDR5). For storage, two M.2 ports offer PCIe x4 Gen 4 connectivity on the former and PCIe x1 Gen 3 and SATA on the latter.
Despite its small format, the Intel NUC 13 Pro offers a large number of connectivity options, including two USB-C ports with Thunderbolt 4, two HDMI 2.1, three USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 (USB 3.1), a RJ45 with 2.5 GbE (and option to place another port through internal ports in the larger models) and 3.5 mm minijack.
WiFi connectivity is WiFi 6E with Bluetooth 5.3, and all this in a NUC with 117 x 112 x 37mm, although there will be a taller model with 54mm height.
The first models will arrive in March, while the full catalog will be available in July. Their prices start at $340 for the most basic models up to $1,080 for the most powerful.
