God of War Ragnarokthe sequel to the 2018 title starring Kratos and his son Atreuswill finally arrive on PlayStation 4 (PS4) and PlayStation 5 (PS5) on November 9.
Initially, Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) announced in 2020 that the launch of God of War Ragnarök would take place in 2021. However, the title delayed this date and later indicated that it would be intergenerational, that is, that would also come out on PS4.
Now, the Japanese company has confirmed the final release date of God of War Ragnarök with a blog postwhere he announced that the outcome of the Kratos and Atreus adventure will arrive on PS4 and PS5 on November 9.
In addition to specifying the date, Sony has released a new preview of the game that, although it does not show gameplay, it does offer new details about the story. The protagonist of this new advance is a giant wolf that receives the name of Fenrir and is presented as a possible enemy of Kratos and Atreus.
The plot of God of War Ragnarök leads these protagonists to travel to each of the nine available kingdoms in search of answers to prepare for the prophesied battle that could lead to the end of the world.
Sony has also released the different editions of the game: the launch edition, the standard, the digital deluxe, the collector and the Jötnar edition.
