the japanese company Capcomin its most recent special presentation, revealed a series of exciting news for the upcoming release of its innovative online team-based action game, exoprimal. The presentation was hosted by project director Takuro Hiraoka, who revealed the details that promise to have gamers glued to their screens when wargames wreaks havoc on July 14, 2023.
The Exoprimal Showcase offered an early look at the new content that the Exofighters, the heroes of the story, will encounter once the battle breaks out. During the event, they discussed exciting seasonal updates including a brand new game mode, crossovers with two major Capcom titles Monster Hunter and Street Fighter 6, and Alpha and Beta variants of Exosuits. Additionally, Hiraoka introduced an intriguing new feature called “End Mission Select” for the main game mode, Jurassic Tide. Players will have the option to choose between player versus player (PvP), player versus environment (PvE), or random matches, thus increasing the tension and stakes of the gaming experience.

The new Jurassic Tide mode will allow players to choose their destination in “Final Mission Selection”. In PvP matches, two rival squads of Exoluchadores will fight until one team wins and the other is literally eaten by raptors. In PvE matches, speed will be the key to survival and players must complete a series of objectives before the opposing team. There is also the random option, which will reward the most daring players with an experience bonus.
Capcom has announced its commitment to post-launch content for Exoprimal. Season 1 kicks off with the game launching this Friday and will introduce a new game mode, Savage Gauntlet, on July 28, 2023. In this mode, teams of five players will take on end-of-mission PvE challenges that rotate on a weekly basis. In August, players will be treated to an update that includes 10 Alpha variants of Exosuits, alternate skins with completely different weapons.
Season 2 kicks off in October 2023 with an exciting collaboration with Street Fighter 6, plus the introduction of a new map and Final Mission. Season 3, scheduled for January 2024, will feature the Beta variant of the Exosuits and the fearsome enemy Neo Triceratops. It has also been revealed that a collaboration with Monster Hunter is in the works, which will be released as part of the third season.

Exoprimal is a futuristic apocalyptic battle between Exo Fighters and dinosaurs, powered by the advanced artificial intelligence Leviathan. The main game, Jurassic Tide, pits teams of five Ex-Wolf Fighters against each other in a fight to complete objectives while resisting waves of dinosaurs. Players can switch Exosuits at any time to adjust their tactics and will unlock story sequences and rewards to customize their Exosuits.
