video game developer, Capcomreleases on July 14 exoprimal, his new online team action game. Priced at US$59.99 / MXN$1,200, it can be purchased on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows, PlayStation 5, PS4, and Steam, and is included in Xbox Game Pass.
Exoprimal begins in 2040, when dinosaurs reappear all over the world and threaten the existence of humanity. To save the day, the powerful Aibius Corp. deploys its next-generation artificial intelligence, Leviathan.
This artificial intelligence can predict where the outbreaks of dinosaurs will appear to mobilize the Exoluchadores and protect the area.
These warriors wear advanced armor known as Exosuits, representing humanity’s greatest hope. The story is set three years later, when a patrol unit of Ex-fighters called the Hammerheads crash-lands on a remote island where Leviathan recruits them as test subjects in a deadly war game.
How to play Exoprimal?
In the main mode, Jurassic Tide, teams battle each other and dinosaurs. The game also has PvP, PvE, and Random Match game modes.
Exoprimal has 10 Exosuits, each with their own abilities and roles. Players can customize their Exosuits with Rigs gear.
As players progress through Jurassic Tide, they will unlock new Exosuits, gear, cosmetic items, and narrative content. The story of the Hammerheads crew will unfold through story-related missions, cinematics, and “lost data.”
This information includes audio logs, documents, and much more that can be pieced together on the analysis map to solve the mystery behind war games and dinosaur outbreaks.
Capcom plans post-launch updates for Exoprimal. The first, on July 28, 2023, will introduce the PvE game mode, Savage Gauntlet.
Title Update 1 will arrive on August 17, 2023, with 10 Alpha Variant Exosuits. Future updates will include collaborations with Street Fighter 6 and Monster Hunter, Beta Variant Exosuits, new enemies, stages, and missions.
