EVE Online players can look forward to two expansions building on the narrative introduced in the Uprising expansion. Its content will offer new stories, new features and events around New Eden. Starting with the Direct Enlistment feature launching in Q1 2023, pilots will be able to join Faction War events without leaving their corporations or alliance partners. Additional updates to the EVE Evolved initiative and the Faction Warfare system will be available in the coming months.
On the other hand and thanks to the collaboration with Microsoft, EVE Online players subscribed to Omega will be able to import data directly from the EVE API to Excel through a native plugin that will be available in May. This addons it allows you to access and calculate everything from profit margins to battle strategy, “making EVE’s day-to-day operations easier to execute,” says CCP Games. The closed beta will be available at the end of January.
“2022 was spectacular for EVE, but 2023 is going to be monumental,” says Bergur Finnbogason, Creative Director at CCP Games. “As we enter this majestic third decade of EVE, our roadmap only scratches the surface of what we have at hand. We’re going to continue to evolve the future of warfare with two expansions coming later this year, bringing a host of new events, content, and features to our amazing community and all of its players.”
Among the novelties that EVE Online received last year we find the translation into Spanish. In 2023 it will be the turn of Simplified Chinese, which will be available beyond mainland China.
