Grace Van Dien is an actress who became known for her role in stranger things, but now it is dedicated to the world of streaming. The young woman has already made a name for herself and has even just been signed by one of the most famous esports organizations, but she was involved in controversy.
The young American actress gave a lot to talk about after announcing in March of this year that she would move away from acting as a result of suffering harassment that included sexual advances by a film producer. This experience made the actress angry and she said that streaming was healthier for her mind. But unfortunately the young woman has not been freed from the controversy and the bad experiences at all, because she was in the middle of the controversy this weekend.

Grace Van Dien’s signing by FaZe Clan was controversial
We say this because on May 25, the professional esports and entertainment organization FaZe Clan announced that Van Dien, known on Twitch as BlueFille, would be part of the group.
He saw it as an organization with the ‘bro’ culture, but everything changed when he really met it, to such an extent that he says he feels it “like a second home”.
Ever since my first meeting with FaZe, we shared the same vision in working together to create lasting change for female gamers. We picked each other for a reason and I’m excited to take on an important role to help bring women to the forefront. LET’S GOOOOO https://t.co/UJ7O49XXwy

“Since my first meeting with FaZe, we shared the same vision of working together to create lasting change for the players,” said the former actress. “We chose each other for a reason and I’m excited to step into this role to help empower women. GO.”
While there were several members of the organization, such as Nate Hill and DSG Toast, including women like Pokimane and Valkyrae, there were other original members who disagreed with this and raised their voices.

One of the most vocal was Faze Rain, who criticized the deal makers in the organization for not taking them into account in the process. Faze Banks, FaZe Adapt, and FaZe Censor all came together to show their disapproval, which highlights the problems that exist among their members.
The community was equally divided, as some supported the decision to include Van Dien in the team, but there were also others who questioned his position, as they share Rain’s sentiment and that FaZe Clan signed her just for having appeared in stranger things.
In case you missed it: FaZe Clan player was banned after hurling a racist slur.
The actress did not remain silent, but also raised her voice in the midst of the controversy to address these statements and replied that, although her participation in stranger things it could be the catalyst for FaZe Clan to meet with her, in the end it was other reasons that made her accepted.
“FaZe Rain said that the only reason she was signed by FaZe was because I appeared on stranger things“, commented the actress in a stream of VALORANT. “Excuse me, sir, were you at the meeting with us? Were you there? No, I’ve never f*cking met you. And that’s not the reason I got booked. Yeah, that’s how I got the meeting; ( …) the things we talked about in the meeting were why it happened [el fichaje]. So fuck you.”
The Stranger Things actor responded to Rain’s comments that she’d only been hired because she was in the show
