Elden Ring, God of War Ragnarök and Stray compete for best game at the Game Developers Choice Awards 2023

The Game Developers Conference has shared the list of video games nominated for the awards that it awards each year to the best titles and developers, among which are Elden Ring, Stray and God of War Ragnarök.

The conference celebrates this year the 23rd edition of its awardsthe Game Developers Choice Awards, which are part of the programming that will take place on March 20 and 24 in San Francisco (United States).

With these awards, it seeks to recognize “the best games and developers in the industry”, and they are joined by the decision of the public, with an award in which they choose what they consider to be the best video game of last year, as they explain it’s a statement.

Neon White, NORCO, stray, TUNIC, Y Vampire Survivors, are the videogames nominated for the ‘Best Debut’ award. To recognize ‘Best Audio’, the conference has selected Elden Ring, God of War Ragnarok,Horizon Forbidden West, Metal: Hellsinger and Stray.

In ‘Best Design’, the nominees are Elden Ring, Marvel Snap, Neon White, Stray and TUNIC. While in ‘Best Narrative’ God of War Ragnarök stands out; I Was a Teenage Exocolonist, IMMORTALITY, Pentiment and Return to Monkey Island.

In the ‘Best Technology’ category, the conference has nominated A Plague Tale: Requiem, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare IIElden Ring, God of War Ragnarök and Horizon Forbidden West.

In ‘Best Visual Art, Elden Ring, God of War Ragnarök, Horizon Forbidden West, Pentiment and Stray; at the ‘Innovation Award’, Elden Ring, IMMORTALITYNeon White, Pentiment and Stray, while in the ‘Social Impact Award’, As Dusk Falls, Citizen Sleeper, Endling – Extinction Is Forever, I Was A Teenage Exocolonist, OlliOlli World Y We Are OFK.

Finally, in the ‘Best Game’ category, the conference has nominated Elden Ring, God of War Ragnarök, IMMORTALITY, Pentiment, Stray and TUNIC.

The Game Developers Conference will announce the winners of each category on March 22, in an event that can be followed both through a broadcast of the conference and on the channel that they also have on Twitch.
