Antec has been launching some models of its PC cases for many years with very striking designs that are out of the ordinary. We have examples such as the Antec GTR in the shape of a V8 engine, or the Torque with an open design in the purest robot transformer style.
Now the new Antec Cannon continues with that philosophy and shows us an open design with different plates and asymmetrical tempered glass parts that leave all the components visible. This “full tower” is capable of housing E-ATX motherboards thanks to the non-existence of limits in the upper area and its rather generous dimensions of 604 x 261 x 481 mm.
We can accommodate power supplies up to 27 centimeters, although the support for heatsinks is much more limited and we can only fit fairly low profile 85mm heatsinks. However, it is a box well thought out for the placement of liquid cooling systems, with support for two 360mm radiators at the same time and even one of 420mm. The graphics card can reach 38.5 cm, which guarantees support for practically all models.
As a curiosity, the graphics card can be placed in the front area.
Internally, it supports two 2.5-inch SSDs or HDDs and one 3.5-inch one. For cooling, there is room for no more and no less than twelve fans, of which three can be 140 mm at the rear.
In terms of connectivity, Antec Cannon It has two USB 3.0 type A, one USB-C type 3.1 (USB 3.2 gen 2), a combined minijack and power button.
Its construction is made of aluminium, steel and 4mm tempered glass and it weighs 10 kg. In Spain you can buy for about 380 euros.
