Xbox is ready for launch Starfield, which after some delays already has a debut date. To reaffirm it, the company presented an extensive look at it last week, but… does it look better than the 2022 version or was it downgraded?
After exposing the current version of Starfieldplayers have had the opportunity to analyze it in depth and as an example is a video that compares what the game looked like in the Xbox Games Showcase of 2022 and 2023.
In the video of user Cycu1, it is possible to see several scenes that appeared in both presentations and what is interesting is that they are not identical, but there were changes, apparently on some occasions for the better and on others for the worse.

Something very curious happens with Starfieldsince in certain scenes it is possible to see great improvements, especially in the lighting and the model of some characters, but there are others in which it is clearly seen that the 2022 version looked better.
An example is the model of the woman who receives the protagonist in the Constellation. The model clearly had a downgrade, which can be seen in the facial expressions; in the 2022 version you can see the fabric of her shirt, for example, while in the 2023 version you can’t. The eyes are another element that drew attention, since in the 2022 version they look more realistic. But curiously, the hair of the new model looks better than that of 2022.

However, most of the scenes in the second part of the video show improvements in general. A clear example is the scene in which the protagonist appears next to another member of the Constellation, apparently thanks to a change in lighting.
