Marvel Studios and Fox have a really ambitious project on their hands. We’ve already seen epic moments in the MCU in the past, like “Avengers: Endgame” or “Spider-Man: No Way Home.” Well now it adds upDeadpool 3″ to the superhero tapes that will bring together several classic comic book characters, played, of course, by those actors of yesteryear.
Hugh Jackman was the first confirmed for the film. He’s a close friend of Ryan Reynolds, so it wasn’t that hard to convince him to once again play Wolverine on the big screen. The question that starts from here is how they will bring back a dead character.
Brianna Hildebrand and Shioli Kutsuna are two other actresses returning to their roles as mutants: Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Yukio, respectively. While there are strong rumors that Ben Affleck could play Daredevil again for this movie. Although the latter is not confirmed.
Jennifer Garner will be Elektra
To further increase the ‘hype’ or expectation regarding the return of the old Daredevil, Jennifer Garner joins the cast, who took the role of Elektra in the film of the blind anti-hero in 2003 and played it again in 2005.
It was The Hollywood Reporter who shared the information and it was confirmed by Maximum Effortthe production company in charge of the Deadpool movies.
“Mothers of the future past. Welcome to Deadpool, Jennifer Garner”, reads the company publication.
What will “Deadpool 3” have planned? How will these characters return to the big screen after almost 20 years? These are just some of the questions that fans have regarding the production and the answer could be in the last scenes of the last film.
Deadpool obtained Cable’s time machine and abused it to make his own. Wolverine, Elektra and Daredevil could be some of the heroes that the bigmouth recruits to face a new threat in the present.
There is also the question of whether this production is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Ryan Reynolds commented that it should be Deadpool’s gateway to the Avengers universe but it is not known if he will have cameos in other productions.
