The Australian Government has declared a natural disaster on Monday to allow the rapid disbursement of emergency funds for the inhabitants of the southeast of the country, where a heavy rainstorm has caused the evacuation of more than 50,000 people.

The episode of heavy rain has left more than 102 evacuation orders and 55 warnings for residents in the northwest and southwest of Sydney, affecting some 50,000 people, according to the Premier of the New South Wales region, Dominic Perrottet. , in statements collected by The Sydney Morning Herald’.
