Albert Einstein, one of the most recognizable physicists in history, He died at the age of 76 in 1955, on this day, April 18, in Princeton, United States.
His work originated the theories of relativity, which changed our way of conceiving space, energy, time and they even had philosophical repercussions, eliminating the possibility of an absolute space/time in the universe.
