Although the Acer Nitro 16 and Acer Nitro 17 were among the first laptops to adopt the new high-performance AMD Ryzen 7000 processors, the company has also announced at CES 2023 that will have variants equipped with thirteenth generation Intel Core processors “Raptor Lake” HX along with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 graphics. Therefore, these laptops can be purchased with Intel or AMD processor solutions.
For the rest, it seems that there will not be too many changes and they will be practically the same as the models with AMD, with up to 32 GB of DDR5-4800 memory, a 16-inch WUXGA or WQXGA screen on the Nitro 16 and QHD or FullHD on the Nitro 17. along with refresh rates up to 165Hz.
They include NVMe 1.4 SSD with M.2 interface and PCI Express 4.0 x4 connection up to 2 TB, the only difference is that they will support Thunderbolt 4, while the AMD versions have USB4, with similar specifications.
The Acer Nitro 16 with Intel CPUs will arrive in our country in May for a base price of 1,499 euros, while the Acer Nitro 17 will do so for 1,599 euros in the same month of May.
