Iran calls Israel's accusations of plot to attack Israelis in Turkey 'ridiculous'

June 24. (EUROPA PRESS) –

At least one projectile has hit this Thursday in a gas field located in northern Iraq and managed by an Emirati company, as confirmed by the Iraqi authorities, who have not yet ruled on the possibility of fatalities.

Security sources quoted by the Iraqi television network Al Sumaria have indicated that a Katyusha-type projectile has hit the Jor Mor field, in the Chamchamal district, located in the province of Sulaimaniya.

Likewise, sources quoted by the Kurdish television channel Rudaw have pointed out on condition of anonymity that the event has caused a fire in the area. At the moment no group has claimed responsibility for the attack, the second against the field in the last week.

During the day on Wednesday, at least two contractors were slightly injured by the impact of another projectile in the Jor Mor field, after which the Emirati company Dana Gas stressed that “there was no damage” and that “production operations continued normally and without interruptions”.
