The Flipper Zero, for those who haven’t heard of it yet, is a pocket-sized device primarily designed for security researchers, software and hardware hackers and others looking for a portable, versatile and incredibly useful electronic toy.
Designed to look more like a toy than a hacking tool, it can be used to interact with RFID, NFC, Bluetooth or IR devicesplus it features GPIO pins that allow you to connect other hardware to expand capabilitiessomething to which this new “app store” is added.
When the Flipper Zero was first released via a Kickstarter campaign a few years ago, it shipped with software for basic functionality, but also allowed developers to write their own apps. Now, the company behind Flipper Zero has launched an app store which facilitates users to download around 100 applications.
It should be noted that all the applications in the “store” are free., so it’s not the most appropriate name for it. In addition, all apps are open sourceso there should be no problem on this front, just as there hasn’t been so far.
