Delinquent debtor? New credit to re-enter the financial system

The Credicorp Group company, Mibanco, launched the ‘Volver a Creer’ credit‘ for people who were going through moments of crisis. And it is an offer for those who have entered into default with the payment of their credits.

The goal of the product is that people “can re-enter the financial system, becoming a tool to combat the ‘drop by drop'”.

For the financial entity, this bet is to reduce informal credits that can endanger those who opt for these options.

About, Manuel Bustamante, Deputy General Manager of Mibanco in Colombiaemphasizes that: “Being outside the financial system can become a real headache and lead people to request informal loans, which can put their integrity at risk“.

The company defines ‘Believe again’ as a second opportunity in which it will also have “constant advice, a specialized program in financial education that must be approved to receive the disbursement of the requested value and support in preventive and empathetic collection.”
