Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Detective Pikachu: The Return, WarioWare: Move It! and Pikmin 4 are four of the novelties that Nintendo has presented this Wednesday and that will soon arrive on its Switch game console.

The Nintendo Direct in June hosted a long list of new arrivals for the Nintendo Switch console throughout this year, including several new titles and content starring Mario and friends, as well as games from developer partners.

Starting with Mario, Super Mario Bros. Wonder is a new installment of the popular 2D Nintendo series, which will arrive on October 20 for solo or local cooperative play. This title introduces a new power-up for Mario, which allows him to transform into an elephant.

Also Super Mario RPG, the first role-playing game in the Super Mario series initially released for the Super NES, returns with new graphics on November 17. In it, Mario must join forces with his allies to stand up to the evil Band of Fraguo, recover the seven stars and repair the Starway.

Luigi’s Mansion 2, which originally came out for Nintendo 3DS, will have a new remastered version, which Nintendo hopes to have ready in 2024, the year in which a new game starring Princess Peach will arrive.

The Last Spark Hunter is the second paid downloadable content for Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, which is available now. While Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Extra Tracks Pass will incorporate a new circuit, Accelerated Toilet, and three characters from the Mushroom Kingdom into the racing title: Floro Piranha, Floruga and Kamek.

Detective Pikachu: Returns will arrive on October 6, a cinematic-style adventure game with new cases to solve and a month later (November 3), it will be the turn of WarioWare: Move It!, a new installment in the WarioWare series in the one that the players will have to complete more than 200 mini-games with absurd and extravagant movements, which will be available on November 3.

The technology company has also dedicated a few minutes to Pikmin 4 (July 21), which for the first time will have night expeditions and luminous Pikmin. It also features Dandori battles, in which users must collect more items than the opponent within a time limit to rescue a missing person. And starting this Wednesday, the remastered versions of Pikmin 1 and Pikmin 2 are available on the Nintendo eShop.

Nintendo also highlighted numerous games from developer and distributor partners at the presentation, including Batman: Arkham Trilogy, a collection of action-adventure games starring Gotham City’s great protector; Palia, an inviting multiplayer simulation-adventure title where users can create the life of their dreams; Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince, an epic journey told from the perspective of a celebrated adversary; and Persona 5 Tactica, a new adventure from the Phantom Thieves.

Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol.1 (October 24), Sonic Superstars (Fall), Just Dance 2024 Edition (October 24), MythForce (2023), Penny’s Big Breakaway (early 2024), Fae Farm (September 8), Star Ocean The Second Story R (November 2), Vampire Survivors (August 17), Silent Hope (October 3), Headbangers Rhythm Royale (October 31), Gloomhaven (September 18), Manic Mechanics (July 13) and Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 – Turbocharged (October 19), complete the news.
