TeamGroup has shown us some of its most powerful DDR5 RAM memories in its catalogue. The news T-FORCE XTREEM DDR5 reach speeds starting at 6,400 MHz in their “slower” variants, while the fastest models they go up to 8.266 MHz, becoming the fastest modules of the company for the moment.
To achieve these speeds, the T-FORCE XTREEM far exceed the JEDEC standard 1.1V, in particular, the fastest modules require up to 1.45V to operate. This requires a dedicated heatsink system to keep operating temperatures in check.
This heatsink, colored “Narvik Black” in the modules that we have seen at this speed, is quite sober without RGB lighting or frills, incorporating a strip of metal fins on one side to aid cooling.
In addition to this variant, TeamForce has also shown a variant with ARGB lighting that replaces the upper part of the heatsink with a more striking Addressable RGB lighting diffuser for those who prefer this type of design.
The T-Force Xtreem will hit the market in the form of two-module kits with capacities starting from 8 GB (2 x 8 GB) up to 2 x 48 GB for a total of 96 GB of Dual Channel memory.
