() — Your driver’s license is not the place for a racy selfie, according to Georgia authorities.
The Georgia Department of Driver Services posted on Facebook this Tuesday a reminder for drivers to keep their clothes on when taking photos for a digital driver’s license or ID.
“Please take photos of yourself fully clothed when submitting for your Digital Driver’s License and ID,” the department wrote.
“Cheers to technology and keeping things classy,” he added.
Georgia residents can use a digital driver’s license or ID in their Apple Wallet on an iPhone or Apple Watch, according to the department’s website. Digital licenses can “speed up processing at certain TSA checkpoints.” The digital document is not a substitute for a physical identity document, the website warns.
Several people responded to the post on Facebook, asking if it was a prank or if it really happened. The department responded with memes suggesting that this is a real problem.
The department did not immediately respond to ‘s request for comment.
