Which would allow users to make purchases directly with Niantic without conflicting with App Store or Google Play policies, so there is no way for those stores to kick out Pokémon GO just like the App Store did with Fortnite.

Without losing money to Apple and Google fees, players expected the company to offer better deals, but it didn’t. Niantic had time to reconsider and think about better prices for the official launch, but it did not and launched in the middle of this week the Pokémon Web Store, which has various packs of Pokécoins and other items available for the game, including limited and non-limited packs. they can be found elsewhere.

Users mocked Niantic and its Pokémon GO Web Store

The web store does offer some bundles (the more expensive ones available in the in-game store) that are better compared to the in-game store, as they include additional coins (the extra is marginal), but it’s still unappealing to buy here.

We say this because the option of 100 Pokécoins in exchange for $1 USD (available only in-game) is the best considering the cost-benefit. The only drawback is that players have to do the transactions one by one, but it is cheaper for them in the end.

The above may seem somewhat far-fetched, but taking into account Niantic’s latest decisions, it should not be ruled out.
