The President of Poland, Andrzej Duda, received this Wednesday at the Presidential Palace, in Warsaw, the director of the United States Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), William J. Burns, to discuss the “current security situation”. .
This has been confirmed by the Polish Presidency in a brief publication on its official profile on the social network Twitter, where it has also attached a photograph of the meeting between the Polish authorities and the US delegation.
On behalf of Poland, the head of the National Security Office, Jacek Siewiera, and the head of the International Policy Office of the Presidency, Marcin Przydacz, were present, according to the PAP news agency.
On the other hand, the Minister of the Interior and Administration, Mariusz Kaminski, has also reported a meeting with Burns in which they have addressed “security in the context of the war in Ukraine and geopolitical challenges”, as well as “greater cooperation ally”.
