A 22-year-old man has been arrested after having confessed to having murdered a friend of his and his girlfriend’s ex-partner, whom he allegedly beheaded, tore out his heart, cut off his fingers and testicles.
The suspect was upset with his friend because he had texted and called his girlfriend, who had previously been in a romantic relationship with the victim, Indian television NDTV reported, citing police sources.
The man turned himself in at a Hyderabad police station on Friday after murdering the victim. The Police are already investigating the facts and have already recovered the body of the deceased who has been transferred to a hospital for autopsy.
Both the killer and his girlfriend and the victim had studied at a Dilsukhnagar university. The suspect has been identified as Harihara Krishna, while the victim is Naveen Krishna, although they do not appear to have family ties.
